Black and white photography, in my opinion, is the purest form of photography.  Once the color is stripped away all that remains is the simple beauty,  the raw power,  the tranquility and the pure awe inspiring beauty of my surroundings.  My goal every time I release my shutter is to capture the essence  of the moment I just experienced.
